Clint Pugh

GET TO KNOW CLINT: You probably already know the basics about Clint…yes, he is an AGGIE! He was admitted as a Saville partner in 1993 and is now our Managing Partner and is considered to be much more than simply an accountant. He serves as a trusted business advisor and his goal-oriented approach makes a positive difference in his clients’ business success. He prides himself on creative thinking and constantly searches for better and faster methods of solving problems. See more details about his experience and qualifications here on his bio.

booksClint has a couple of hobbies he enjoys. When he is not buried in the demands of tax season, he enjoys traveling with his family and close friends. Time spent with them is very important, and he focuses on that as much as he can. He also loves golf, but admits he doesn’t get to play as much as he’d like.

He also enjoys reading…mainly action novels. Two of his favorites are Undaunted Courage and Endurance

Advice and Insight

When asked what advice he would share “over coffee” with his clients, Clint said, “Planning is by definition something done in advance of an action. Sounds simple, but often forgotten.”

He also shared the best advice he received from others. He said he has had many good offers of advice, but “probably,” Clint said “listen more than you speak, is the one that sticks out”.

Finally, as personal advice and insight, Clint offers that all should focus on the 3 F’s…Faith, Family, Friends.

Clint Pugh has been, and remains a great friend and a trusted advisor. We have done business for many years, and I have always appreciated his knowledge, attitude and faith. Two things that have remained consistent….high ethical standards and a belief in a higher calling. I know where Clint may have gotten this, because you see……I started doing business with John Saville when he was the small company referred to in this article (…y-then-and-now/). His “Cross of Nails” was an un-spoken symbol that did speak loudly to all of us who knew him. I believe John lead his people with the same goals and character that I see in Clint Pugh’s leadership. What a breath of fresh air it is to do business with men of integrity!
