Saville CPA Gives Back
As a public accounting firm, the year can fly by pretty quickly with two busy tax seasons and not much time to come up for air. This year Saville, Dodgen & Company made time to give back to the community by volunteering at the North Texas Food Bank. On Friday, November 30th, the entire firm, and a few wonderful spouses, spent some time sorting food, filling boxes and prepping pallets to be sent out to needy North Texas families. Saville was successfully able to prepare enough food and pallets to create 22,926 meals for hungry families!
Volunteers are invaluable to the North Texas Food Bank. Without volunteers, NTFB can’t provide food to the hundreds of thousands of North Texans that it currently serves. Sadly, the majority of volunteers they get are during the holidays, making it very difficult for the NTFB to get as much food out as needed all year around. If you want to find out about volunteering visit North Texas Food Bank – The Volunteer Experience.
We really enjoyed the experience and the fact that we were able to help some families in need. We certainly hope to do this again!

We also had a couple of food trucks come out for everyone to end a great day!
